Camel Tour 1

2 Days - 1 Night

Day 1

Your day begins at Wadi Rum Resthouse at Rum Village where  you are met by our guide at 10:30 am.  We will explain the trip itinerary and you are taught the basics of camel riding.

 

From Rum village you ride to Lawrence’s Spring where you may choose to climb to the spring or enjoy the surroundings and rock inscriptions. We then continue to the Sand Dunes which offer pleasant views and the option to scramble to the top and run or sandboard down. We then move on to the Anfisheyh Inscriptions and Lawrence’s House and remain in this area for lunch. Once rested we continue by camel to our camp in time to watch the spectacular Wadi Rum sunset.

 

At the camp you will experience an authentic Bedouin experience filled with traditional food, sweet tea, singing, stories and dancing that will leave memories to last a lifetime.

 

Day 2

Following a camp breakfast we ride to Qatar Spring and the beautiful Khazali Canyon before returning to the village by 2pm.

Camel Tour 2

3 Days - 2 Nights

Day 1

Your day begins at Wadi Rum Resthouse at Rum Village where  you are met by our guide at 10:30 am.  We will explain the trip itinerary and you are taught the basics of camel riding.

 

We then trek by camel to Lawrence’s Spring where you have the opportunity to hike to the spring itself or simply enjoy the surroundings and search for the nearby rock inscriptions. We continue onward to the sand dunes which offer fun photo opportunities as you scramble up and run down or sandboard the sandy slopes. We then proceed to Lawrence’s House and enjoy lunch near this area.

 

Following this, we continue by camel to the camp in time to appreciate the spectacular Wadi Rum sunset before settling in for a night of traditional food, tea, singing, stories and dancing that will leave memories to last a lifetime.

 

Day 2

The following day you may choose to rise early to catch the desert sunrise before enjoying tea and breakfast at camp. We then travel through Um Sabatah Canyon where the impressive spectrum of desert colours can be appreciated. From there we continue to the Um Frouth Rock Bridge which you may choose to climb for some wonderful photo opportunities before resting for lunch.

 

After lunch we continue to Burdah where you can see the high arch before returning to camp for another memorable Bedouin night.

 

Day 3

In the morning we have breakfast at camp and then travel by camel to Qatar Spring and Khazali Canyon. We then start the journey back to Rum Village, returning by 2pm.

 



Prices

2-3 people : 70 JD per day

4+ people : 55 JD per day

 

Price Includes

Bedouin Guide, all meals, camel, car to carry luggage and camp facilities.

 

Price Does not Include

The entrance fee for Wadi Rum Protected Area paid at the Visitors Centre (5JD). Payment is only in cash, preferably in Jordanian Dinar although Euro and US dollars are also accepted. Please note, there is no ATM in Wadi Rum.
